Boston’s doctor-notification startup PatientPing expands to Vermont

A Boston startup is expanding its doctor notification service to Vermont, inking an agreement with the Green Mountain State to put its software in hospitals across the state in a bid to improve patient care and communication between health care providers. “It’s in the interest of the patient; there’s real benefits for the patients when all the doctors that are touching them are communicating,” said Jay Desai, founder and chief executive of PatientPing. “We’ve seen how magical it can be when providers work with one another in a community.” Read the full article in the Boston Herald.
