PatientPing Announces Expansion of North Carolina Network Through Partnership with Eagle Physicians & Associates, P.A.

BOSTON— (July 3, 2018) – PatientPing, a health technology company connecting providers to seamlessly coordinate patient care, announced today that it has partnered with Eagle Physicians & Associations, a physician-owned and physician-led multispecialty medical group with 14 locations throughout North Carolina. With this new collaboration, PatientPing will continue to expand its North Carolina network, which already consists of hundreds of providers from various healthcare organizations ranging from ACOs, post-acute, and acute-care facilities.

With PatientPing, Eagle Physicians will now receive real-time notifications whenever one of their patients receives care at a facility within the PatientPing network. These notifications and patient insights will help to improve Eagle Physicians’ care coordination efforts, while lowering cost of care.

PatientPing’s network includes tens of thousands of providers throughout the country, working to improve patient care through its solutions. PatientPing is rapidly accelerating its nationwide expansion so that any providers who share patients anywhere in the country can coordinate care with one another.

About Eagle Physicians & Associates, P. A.
Eagle Physicians is a physician-owned, multi-specialty medical group with 14 locations in Greensboro and Oak Ridge, North Carolina. In our continuing efforts to help patients Stay Healthy™, Eagle embarked on a rigorous year-long process to achieve the coveted Level 3 “Patient-Centered Medical Home” designation. Level 3 is the highest recognition given by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. This rare honor distinguishes excellence in health care and puts the patient at the center of Eagle’s team-based approach to care and treatment. Being a Certified Patient-Centered Medical Home is one of the highest national honors any medical practice can receive. Eagle is governed by our all-physician Board of Directors and championed by many of the other physician owners via involvement in a variety of committees and leadership projects. Because our physicians own the practice, they govern and lead with compassionate and committed awareness that patient-centered, quality-driven care is the number one goal of Eagle. As many other medical groups have elected to affiliate with larger organizations, Eagle has chosen to remain independent and physician-owned as we feel that our physicians themselves are best able to define, support and implement best-in-class quality patient care measures.
